I have been providing effective athletic training and nutrition/lifestyle coaching since 2008. I achieve consistent results in body re-composition and improvements in functionality and strength gain. 

Nutrition and Intestinal Health - This is the most important factor to assess and adjust. I differ from mainstream fitness in that I do not utilize radical starvation 'diets' based on processed foods and quick fixes... I favor local grass fed/pastured animal products, seasonal vegetables, and traditional fermented foods. The purpose of this is to 'heal from the inside' - by eliminating foods that irritate our immune response and stimulate cravings. A proper diet will regulate hormones, reverse metabolic disorders, and in turn lead to naturally lean and efficient body composition. 

Movement - Function function function. You will find no 3lb pink dumbbells and chronic cardio machines in my programming. We build strength from the ground up... starting with stability, balance, and flexibility. A combination of heavy compound lifts and smart metabolic conditioning is the key to a functioning body. With a strong stable core - risk of injury is greatly reduced and the demands of real life may be met with ease. 

Stress Management - Positive change is difficult to achieve without addressing this aspect of life. Cortisol issues cause everything from hypertension to insulin resistance to insomnia... not good. Exercise itself is a great management tool - and can often be the catalyst for further exploration into techniques and practices one might utilize on their own.
